For over ten years, Maayan Agmon has served as a Physical Therapist, Hydro Therapist and Pilates instructor who has been treating a wide range of people suffering from neurological and orthopedic conditions in both large rehabilitation centers and smaller clinics. She is a licensed Physical Therapist in Israel and is currently working on a Doctorate in Nursing at the University of Washnington. As a result of her broad experience and education, Maayan has gained a unique understanding that treating back pain is complex and requires a wide-spectrum, holistic approach to treatment. Laura Strauss
For Laura Strauss, yoga is a consistent practice that she relies on to maintain physical and mental health. Laura began to practice yoga 15 ago. Yoga offers her an opportunity to continually strive to improve her physical ability and explore the spiritual and emotional landscape of being human. Laura’s passion and interest in yoga inspired her to study it more deeply by enrolling in a yoga teachers’ training program. Teaching was part of the program and Laura has continued to teach weekly classes since receiving her teaching certificate in 2002. Laura’s primary profession is as a hydrogeologist. She received her Masters of Science in Geology from the University of Arizona and has been working as a consultant in hydrogeology for over 25 years. Laura brings her commitment to holistic well-being, her sensitivity to individuals, and her analytical skills to the Back2Yourself team.
